Russell successfully cured Claire Ayton of her addiction to Diet Coke. She drank an incredible 14 two-litre bottles a week, but after a course of hypnotherapy no longer hungers for the fizzy drink. Incredible story of Louise's fear of stairs
Louise Wilson (left) had a fear of stairs that was triggered by a bad fall as a child and it was a fear that had a massive impact on her life. She would shuffle up and down her own stairs on her bottom, turn down jobs if it meant climbing stairs and organise her life and meetings on a ground-floor basis. Phenomenon of Russell's Virtual Gastric Band treatment
Russell's treatment, using the Virtual Gastric Band method to help Emma drop from a size 18 to size 8, featured in the June 2010 edition of Woman's Own. The no-surgery gastric band helped her lose four stone in six months. It also featured in many national and local newspapers, as well as on Channel Five and Australian TV.

 The radio station interviews a local medical student at Warwick University who was on the verge of giving up her career because she was so scared of needles – until she underwent hypnotherapy. Aisling Martin (right) hadn't had an injection or blood test for more than 10 years – never mind being able to give them to patients. At one point, medical staff chased her round a hospital room to try and get her to have an immunisation jab. She refused to have an operation if it meant having an injection first. It became so bad, she was on the verge of having to leave her chosen medical career if she couldn't deal with her.
